Lots happening in Old Town this fall

Old Town is the site for various events in October.

The city of Peoria special events and arts team is hosting a series of events, food, theater and live music in the heart of Old Town Peoria. Events are held indoors and outdoors at the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts, in Osuna Park (PCPA), and on Washington Street in front of Fire Station No. 1 — Lucidi’s Distillery.

Old Town is developing as a center for culture and the arts as more programming and events are offered in this location. Every weekend this fall and winter, visitors can catch a variety of entertainment and food options: Listen to live music performances, eat local, have a drink and enjoy the night. With plenty of space to run around and pop-up games to play, the venue is a great place for the entire family. Residents can choose from several options for weekends, as well as select weeknight evenings.

Upcoming events include:
• Music on the Plaza from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 6 outside the PCPA
• Linda Ronstadt Tribute and Taco Tuesday on the Plaza 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Oct. 16 at PCPA
• Food Trucks at the Distillery from 5 to 9 p.m. Oct. 20 near 83rd and Grand avenues

The new, family-friendly events will bring a variety of entertainment options to the Old Town area. For a full list of events, visit www.peoriaaz.gov/specialevents.
